Stitched Pictures
I love to enhance printed fabrics by adding machine stitches. Variegated thread, free-motion quilting, and thread-painting are used. I often extend the image out into the border or “ghost” area, which I call Ghost Quilting, a technique inspired by a beloved artist friend in the 1980s.
